In this week’s sermon on Communion, Michael Mauldin continues in 1 Cor 11:23-30 focusing on seasons where we are standing between what Jesus has accomplished and His manifestation of the promise in our lives. Those gap seasons are often filled with suffering and weakness. Some tendencies in these seasons are to feed our flesh with sinful things to mask the pain. However there is another way to feed our spirits in these times to gain strength and joy in the midst of the suffering of our flesh through Communion! Come to the table to feed your spirit and gain new strength and joy!
Michael Mauldin and Sharla Brenneman share their personal testimonies towards forgiveness from the heart. Forgiveness from the heart is absolutely necessary for us to be free from the self imposed, tortured prisons of unforgiveness. In this sermon, Michael and Sharla share keys to really forgiving from the heart as well as some of the hang ups and beliefs that keep us from being free. Jesus is our model for forgiveness! Key Scriptures are: Matthew 18:21-35, Luke 23:34, Hebrews 12:15, John 12:24, and Romans 12:17-18
When the troubles of life come our way a tendency is to hide who we really are, focus on the negative, and in this process we get stuck in winter wilderness seasons. In this sermon Michael Mauldin shares the parable of the Groundhog, highlights Israel’s own Groundhog season in 1 Sam 13 & 14, and how this relates to our own lives following the journey of Jonathan and his armor bearer through the narrow place into victory.
